A Little About Me
I am originally from California, my family moved to Oregon when I was in 7th grade. I graduated from Bend Senior High School. My husband and I have been married for 15 years. We have called Moscow home for the last 15 years. We recently, in July, adopted two kittens from the Palouse Humane Society.
I hold several degrees from the University of Idaho. My most recent degree was completed in May of 2019. For the first three years of my career I worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional at the Troy Elementary School. After working in Troy I worked as the Intermediate Special Education Teacher at Potlatch Elementary for the last six years. I am very excited to begin this new adventure!!!
Teaching Philosophy
I am a teacher who believes that every student can learn. They all have their own ways of learning and it is part of my job to find the way they learn and to teach them in that manner. I also think that every student can achieve their dreams with the help and support of their families, teachers, and communities.
